In 2008 was celebrated the 150 anniversary of the inauguration of the La Utielana bullring of Utiel. For this reason, the Council of this city, commissioned Luis Serrano Alarcón for composing a pasodoble. In spite of having some elements from the bull-fighting pasodobles, La Utielana is actually a symphonic pasodoble for a concert in which we can listen two themes, in G minor and Eb major, of deep melodic expresivity and a very refined armonic and timbric work, themes that are framed between other sections (the introduction, two transitions and one coda) with a strong sonority.
